Series 2: Part 2 – AND THEN THERE WERE TREE

August 12, 2010 by Michele

This week, I found inspiration in nature and denim. Is that a little bit profound or what? Is it even possible for something to be “a little bit” profound? Don’t think so. Something is either profound or it isn’t. Right? Right. Okay then, glad we cleared that up…
So here we are at Part 2 of “And Then There Were Tree”. And using the exact same “denim discs” as I did in Part 1 (tutorial here), I made these little Christmas ornaments. I know I know… it’s AUGUST! But, hey, like a boyscout I say it’s never to early to “be prepared!”
Honestly, all you need is a few little denim discs, some craft glue, gold thread and some embellishments. Put ’em all together and make your own denim disc Christmas ornaments! Easy easy.
Here’s what I mustered!

Have a wonderful day!

P.S. I’m linking!

Seriously?! Wow these are adorable! And denim, my second favourite fabric ever.

Also, I think you are right, a little profound is like a little pregnant, you are or you aren't. But you were so I wouldn't sweat it.

Maybe just your subconscious mind wanting Xmas to be here ??? Or are you just too hot now ? – I notice that you made WINTER ornaments with your toilet roll as well … But I love this idea of Xmas trees ! My favourite is the one with lace … Something we will do with Petite Plume , l' Ecureuil and Alex … But definitely not now 😉

These are absolutely brilliant!! I just cut up a bunch of jeans to make a blanket. Wish I had kept the seams. I had thought about it but didn't because I don't need to save more stuff but boy I wish I had.
