Still Life With Extra Cheese

October 24, 2013 by Michele

The painting class continues… This time around, I’m painting a collection of objects. A still-life, it’s called. The subject? Wine glass with massive cheese, crackers and a knife on a marble plate, on a table.

Level of enjoyment? On a scale of 1 to 10, it’s up there. Probably something like 9.6, 9.65… Pretty high, eh? It would be 10 if the cheese was real. Also the wine.

I've never tried painting (well, not on canvas anyway, mostly just on window frames and baseboards). This looks really Renaissance! Lovely.
