Hello Blog.

Hello?… Hello? Is this thing on?

Oooh, I think it iiis… I think it’s working… Yes, it still works! AMAZING.

Hey there. How are you? Well, I hope.

I? I am feeling quite shy actually. I haven’t posted in such a while, I feel like an utter newb. Plus, it took me 15 minutes to remember how to upload a photo. Can you imagine?

Sooo, I made a painting out of a photograph. It’s pink trees… In winter… I think that’s what I’ll call it in fact. Pink Trees In Winter by Michele. Good name, right? A propos? If you have a better name, let me know.

Nothing is set in stone.

    Hi Michelle,

not Blog, but Dee speaking. Always loved your blog. Hope your are well and horrible times are a thing of the past.

Your trees are lovely! Even if they are pink (haha, don’t like pink). But its a perfect color combo to capture this kind of ambience.
    Greetings from Austria

Thanks Dee! Ya, I guess pink is not everyone’s favourite, but I’ve gradually warmed to it over the past several years. ๐Ÿ™‚

Nice to see you back again. Your pink trees are beautiful. It’s fun playing with different filters on the computer.

Hey Karen! How are you? Have you walked your friend’s dog lately? Thanks for the comment. It is fun to play. ๐Ÿ™‚

It HAS been a long time. Sadly, my friend passed away and her dog moved to Toronto, to a wonderful home. However, I am living up behind QE now, so you might see me around the ‘hood.

Oh, so sorry to hear about your friend, Karen. Oh, you’re not too far at all. We will for sure see each other. I’m out every day with my dog.

I was thinking later, your husband and your daughter have heard of my friend, because I’m pretty sure they played Jan’s Jam for Joe. My friend was Jan.

I’ll keep an eye out. I’ll have to find myself another dog to walk. ๐Ÿ˜€

Oh, okay. That would have been my ex-husband and my daughter. They sometimes perform together. What was Jan’s last name?

Nice to see you back even if you made me feel like a slacker every time you showed your latest quilt LOL. Your trees are lovely, we have had many here this winter in North Idaho that resemble them. Funny, I’ve found myself drawn to and wearing pink these last few months, and I still wear my pink pussy hat from last year’s march.

Don’t worry Althea, the times of making anyone feel like a slacker are over. I’ve been the slacker lately and am quite enjoying it. ๐Ÿ™‚

    Missed you Michele. A lot.
Don’t stay away too long again.
Since you sent me the instructions for your bow tie quilt, I have got into quilt-making – and it’s all your fault!! (And loving it!) Ha Ha.

That’s amazing Val! Perhaps you could send over some photos. I could use a little inspiration on this side of the pond… It looks like the tables have turned eh?

I doubt the tables have turned Michele, I’m sure you’ll be back to your inspirational self in no time! And I for one, can’t wait!!
I’d like to make a landscape quilt for my niece, who is poorly at the moment, but, never having done it before, I’m finding it difficult to know where to start.
I hope I’ll find a way – I’m searching Pinterest for some inspiration!
