Series 9: Old Towel New – Car Sponge

April 14, 2012 by Michele

Another quiet addition to the “Old Towel New” series… The old grey towel is slowly morphing into a number of different items. Today’s offering: wash your car in luxury (and give your sponge a longer life) with this covered car sponge!

Find other old towel projects here, here and here.

Have a lovely weekend!

So manly! Showing this to my husband (he has learned to sew before I have). Another excellent conversion – and bright idea!

Even the humble car sponge looks positively sophisticated dressed in grey toweling! Love it.

I can't believe how far you've made that grey towel stretch! Another great project.

I love the little matchbox cars as photo props (sometimes it is the littlest things that matter to me).

That's a great idea! when I glanced at the first picture I thought you were making home-made 'lady' products…hehe! This is much better 🙂
